Vice-President Fred Behrens with Board Member Milan Kruszynski and President-Elect Pat Montalbano happily present President Amy McCormack with a check for the Calumet College Food Pantry on Thursday, August 30th. This is part of our of our continuing effort to help the community after our successful fund raising week of August 14-20.
IT also marked the third organization this week that CAASH CHARITY has been able to help others. Not only are we planning to continue these efforts but hopefully grow by leaps and bounds.
Below is part of the letter written by Linda Gajewski, who has been instrumental in our efforts of securing our licenses for our fund raising. Linda is also the Director of Communications and Public Relations at Calumet College of St. Joseph and below is part of the wonderful letter she wrote to CAASH CHARITY
Fred, Milan, and Pat,
Thank you for your most generous donation to our Food Pantry. As one of the many hats that Dr. Dionne Jones-Malone wears, she makes sure the Food Pantry is stocked and running smoothly. She was overwhelmed by your generosity and wanted you to know that this will go a long way in supplying our students with the food that they need. We know that God will truly bless you for this act of kindness, as well as the others that have, and will come, from CAASH.
